Gas and dust within the image cascade like billowing pink, purple, and white curtains while reflecting the light from the cluster’s stars — this is known as a reflection nebula. Additional stars and galaxies appear as white pinpoints within and beyond the nebula.
Art director Greg Breeding designed the stamp, using an image provided by NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration), ESA (European Space Agency), CSA (Canadian Space Agency), STScI (Space Telescope Science Institute), Kevin Luhman (Penn State University), and Catarina Alves de Oliveira (ESA).

Stamp & Philatelic Orders
All stamp and philatelic orders are charged a $2.00 handling fee on domestic orders up to $50.00, and $2.75 if the order is greater than $50.00. These fixed handling fees apply to only the portion of the order total that includes stamp and/or philatelic items.
